Pearce for a compilation of biographical articles on the Confederate veterans who were at that time living in Runnels County, Texas.During this interview Cobb declared that during the War Between the States, he served in Company H, 31st Texas Cavalry Regiment, having enlisted in July 1862, at Farmersville in Collin County.

 

He was married to Elizabeth LNU in March 1880 in Runnels County, Texas.The source of this information is the 1886 interview of Thomas Marion Cobb by H.D. He was married to Mary L. ALLEN (daughter of Robert J. ALLEN and Nancy C. 5.Ella E. COBB was born in October 1888 in Runnels County, Texas (probably).She appeared on the census in 1900 in Coke County, Texas.According to information given by her mother on the 1910 census, it is fairly safe to assume that Ella was still living at that time.As she was not present in her mother's household she had most likely married and moved away.

She was married to A.J. KENNARD on April 1, 1910 in Coke County, Texas.This event was recorded in Marriage Book III, pp 66, Coke County, Texas.
