A bit of explanation is required here. Charles Cobb was married three times. His first wife was Lizzie who died 1880-1883, and by who he had no children. His second wife was Ina Wilson who he married in 1883, and by who he had four children.
Both Ina and Charles died 1900-1910. She pre-deceased him and he married a third time to Carma. After his death Carma raised all his children.

[49] This based on the fact his wife was listed as a widow on the 1910 census of Obion County, Tennessee.
[50] At the time of this enumeration there were no children listed in the household. This would seem to indicate the couple had not been married very long.
[51] Although married for at least ten years, there were still no children listed in his household.

Flint Journal obit: Weaks- Jerry L. 942 Bloor, age 73 died 3/9/46 at residence. Funeral at Groves & Co., Burial at Portageville. MO. He was born Jan. 7, 1873 and came to Flint 19 years ago from Marston, MO. He was employed at Chevrolet Motor Co and AC Spark Plug Co. Surviving are wife, Mary, 8 children, Mrs. Thaddis Whitten, Mrs. Ava Bertholomey and Mrs. Lucille Wardleman, all of Flint; 5 sons Cortez Weaks of Marston, MO. Bernard Weaks of Pittsburgh ILL. Dwingt Weaks of Albuquerque, N.M. Marwin and Ivan Weaks both of Flint: 24 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; 1 sister and 2 brothers.
