[NOTE: There exists several discrepancies concerning Elizabeth's date of birth and marriage to Reese D. Lee. The Fannin County court records show that in Mar 1859, Elizabeth's mother, Jane Helen Dickey Cobb, was given legal guardianship of the several unmarried minor children remaining in her household; Elizabeth being one, and therein lies the conflict. For Elizabeth to have yet been a minor in Mar 1859, she could not have born any earlier than Mar 1838. Further, as stated, the record shows she was yet unmarried in Mar 1859, but the 1860 census of Fannin County clearly indicates that she born in 1836, that she was no longer in her mother's household, that she was in fact living with her husband Reese D. Lee, and that they had a child two years old.]
